Formed in the summer of 2007, The Mobile Area Young Professionals Alliance (MAYPA) is a membership organization consisting of students, career-seekers, and young professionals in the bay-area who are joining together to share initiatives, develop their careers, and discover a more exciting way of living in Mobile.
- Showcase Mobile as a growing, dynamic city with much to offer individuals of all ages and professional status.
- Increase awareness of entry-level career opportunities in the Mobile area.
- Facilitate networking activity among young professionals, providing avenues to develop lasting business relationships.
- Collaboratively accomplish goals and assist with the initiatives of other members.
- Retain Mobile's best and brightest candidates by partnering with local academic institutions to aid in their career service activities.
- Serve as a resource for Mobile firms that are in search of local, qualified candidates.
